Expect and Access Ava
Expect has teamed up with Access Ava, an online solution that is changing the landscape in accessing health and social care services.
With their award-winning, AI-driven service, Access Ava helps you to find and access essential support to those who need access to easy-to-understand legal health and social care information (verified by lawyers) at the click of a button with ease, speed and confidence.
Prioritising a person-centred approach, Access Ava equips organisations with the knowledge and tools needed to make right-first-time decisions and advocate for service beneficiaries’ rights effectively.
Our Access Ava chat bot is now live and can be found on the bottom right hand corner of our website. Its purpose is to deliver immediate and quick information focused on helping carers and family members, using AI technology to guide the user through a number of questions which are designed to get the correct information for the issue presented. Access Ava are committed to ensuring that the service is accessible to everyone. So, after your chat, they may ask you a few questions about yourself to help check that we are reaching the correct audience through our website. Any personal information entered into Access Ava will be stored on the platform for up to 14 days.
In some circumstances other organisations will be the experts in the subject you may ask. This is when Access Ava will point you in the direction of external resources, letting you know if you can be expected to be charged for the services they offer. However, Expect are not responsible at any point for the content of other websites and a link to another site does not mean we endorse their content.
We know how important it is to have access to information when you need it. So far, through our Expect website, there have been a total of 30 conversations through Access Ava to date, with 3 legal letters having been downloaded. Those who have used Access Ava have given the user experience 2.8 out of 3 which is the joint highest of all of Access Ava’s partners.
