Trustees, CEO and Senior Management Team

Marg Ollivier

Chief Executive Officer

Marg has over 20 years’ experience working as a senior manager in Human Resources and Governance in the third sector. Following living in London for over 30 years she moved back to the North West from where she hails. Marg joined Expect as Head of HR, Governance and Compliance in June 2018, and following a successful period in this role she was appointed as Deputy CEO in 2019. Marg was appointed Chief Executive Officer in October 2021.

Outside of work Marg is a passionate supporter of Liverpool Football Club and enjoys reading and walking.

Tony Gilmore

Chair of Trustees

Tony is a retired Auctioneer and Valuer with extensive experience in Company asset appraisal and disposal also specialist in Fine Art. Currently, he is a trustee and Treasurer at Knowsley and Huyton Citizens Advice Bureau also board member of 3tc Ltd.

Sylvia McCabe

Trustee

Sylvia has been previous employed in the Nursing, Clinical and Teaching (lecturer) sectors and brings a wealth of experience to Expect. She is currently undertaking research in ancient studies specializing in an analysis of ancient writings.

Sylvia takes her role as trustee very seriously and hopes to support the oversight of Expects practices to provide professional excellence through our hands on care and support, helping to demonstrate our transparency and integrity to care. She also hopes to celebrate diversity and promote inclusion.

Committed to Expect, Sylvia hopes to promote the strategic vision of Expect whilst displaying an independent judgement and to support the work of our staff team, ensuring that they are properly managed and supported. Ultimately, she hopes to utilise her personal skills and experience to improve the lives of people.

Claire Graham

Trustee

Claire is a former corporate lawyer with experience in a variety of teaching, compliance and management roles in the legal, education and charitable sectors both in the UK and overseas. She’s currently working as Trustee Engagement & Support Lead for national Citizens Advice, where she ensures that their 2000+ local trustees have access to essential learning and development resources to understand and perform their role, and opportunities to engage with the national organisation as well as each other on a regular basis, whilst also running her wellbeing business, teaching yoga and seeing clients for nutrition and wellbeing advice.

Jeremy Hooper

Trustee

Jeremy is a Statistician with many years’ experience in the management and presentation of data to support improvements in performance and outcomes. Recent work experience has been in Public Health and Adult Social Care analytics supporting the evaluation and performance reporting of a number of project providing an understand of their performance and inform commissioning decisions. I have also worked on the negotiation of NHS provider contracts. In addition I am currently supporting a local authority in its preparations for CQC inspection.

Jeremy seeks to add value to organisations through developing their governance, data management & maturity and reporting frameworks, increase their understanding of regulatory frameworks and strategically develop business to ensure decisions are evidenced based and improving the outcomes and life chances for the whole population. Personally both parents needed the support of social care services and alongside his work experience wanted to support a local social care provider so that local people are able to access the care and support they need. Jeremy is also a school Governor in Sefton

Jayne Lunt

Director of Finance

Jayne has more than 20 years’ experience in finance and has worked for a variety of organisations ranging from large corporations through to small family run businesses. Jayne was appointed as Senior Finance Officer in 2020 and was promoted to Director of Finance in April 2021. She has welcomed the opportunity to work for an organisation that has the principle aim of making a difference to people’s lives and wellbeing rather than solely for profit.

Jayne has previously been involved in the charity sector personally in a voluntary capacity. She assisted in the set-up of a support group for adults who had suffered a stroke at a young age.
