New Laptop’s for Clare and Thomas!

Clare received one of a number of laptops donated to Expect Ltd by Utilize PLC https://www.utilize.co.uk/ and Gilbert McHarg late last year. This donation has had a great impact on Clare’s independence and life. She says;

“I got my laptop in December. I got it so that I could do a computing course and learn how to book activities for myself. I have booked myself tickets to see a boy band in the echo arena later in the year using the laptop and I am very excited to go to the concert. I am also planning on booking a trip to Blackpool with my carer this year. If I am able to go on the holiday, I will book a holiday to Spain and Tenerife next. I feel like the laptop has given me more independence as I can now book trips for myself on my own, so thank you for donating it to me”.

Thomas also received one of the donated laptops, he says;

“I was flabbergasted when I was told I was going to be given a laptop from Expect. Thank you to the company who donated them. Expect have helped me a lot and I feel looked after by them. I was given the laptop so that I can do online courses. Online courses are best for me right now because my mobility isn’t very good so getting to an in person course would be very hard for me. I am looking into doing a course on bereavement counselling for people who have lost children to drug addiction”
