Dyslexia comes with many challenges.  Often those individuals with Dyslexia can feel invisible or unseen and so this year for Dyslexia awareness week it is important that we raise awareness in the hope that those around us with Dyslexia can feel supported, heard and understood.

Dyslexia is a learning difficulty that causes problems with certain abilities required for learning, such as reading or writing.

Dyslexia doesn’t impact intelligence however, it makes learning more of a struggle.

Around 10% of the UK population have Dyslexia and those individuals often have other co-morbid conditions such as Dyscalculia or ADHD.
