FESTIVE UPDATE FROM FOCUS CARE WALES AND ROWAN CARE

Focus Care Wales and Rowan Care work with adults young and older people  for whom Christmas can be a time of sadness, as they are not at home with their family network enjoying the festive celebrations as one.

Staff at Focus Care Wales and Rowan Care provided fun filled support to all service users throughout the Christmas period, attending activities such as Art Classes where service users made Christmas Decorations or paintings  to go around the house. Service users attended the cinema to watch their favourite Christmas films and attended Christmas Discos. They also attended Christmas pantomimes in the local area with 2 different ones this year- Peter Pan at Venue Cymru, and Mother Goose at Theatre Colwyn.  Santa even arrived to the services bringing with him gifts for all!

Service users also attended Gateway Clubs in Llandudno and Colwyn Bay and also attended Christmas meals and events within the Gateway club. Some Service users also went to Blackpool, for the annual Gateway Trip over the festive period. Everyone loved it.

Staff also took Service users to go Shopping to get some Christmas clothes such as jumpers and shirts for the festive period.
