Our team in Lydiate have recently received some lovely feedback from the relative of a very poorly service user, after her visit to the service.
Suzanna visits as often as she can as she lives abroad, but remains in constant contact with the team regarding her brother’s care.
She says;
“I spent the day last Friday with my brother and his two wonderful carers, Owen and Jackie. We sat out in the garden and they helped me to cope with the fact I would be about to say goodbye to him. The only real comfort is knowing that he is in their care and nothing is too much trouble for them. The staff give him all the emotional support he may need and there is no end to their basic human kindness. All of this helps me to be less worried about him and I know he is getting the best care. He is safe and comfortable with staff and he knows and trusts them. There is also mutual affection.
I would like to thank the team for their level of concern and thank you for the role they play in his care. The young people who work at the Lydiate house do so with utmost professionalism and dignity for the people in their care.”
Sincerely,
Suzanna
We would like to thank Suzanna for her kind words and continued support.
