Mental Health Awareness Week 15th-21st May 2023
This week is National Mental Health Awareness Week- This year, Mental Health Awareness Week’s main focus is anxiety, how it affects our mental health and what we can do to manage our anxiety and support those around us. The Mental Health Foundation who operate Mental Health Awareness Week want to encourage the kick start of a nationwide conversation, encouraging people to share their own experiences and helpful ideas to manage anxiety.
Anxiety is a normal emotion for all of us. It can at times get out of control and become a significant problem.
It’s one of the most common mental health problems we face. Within the workplace 60% experience at least mild symptoms of anxiety, according to research from The Workplace Health Report: 2023.
