This week is Mental Health Awareness week and this year’s focus is ‘Nature’.
Research shows that spending time in nature can be beneficial for both our physical and mental health. This might be getting outdoors to exercise, going for a walk or a jog. It might be just sitting and watching the leaves blowing in the breeze or the waves lapping on the beach. Maybe sitting in your garden or outside space and listening to the birdsong or keeping houseplants in your living space.
Sometimes even small changes can make a big difference. Sometimes you need more than just a change of scenery.
Wherever you are at and whatever you might need, know that you are not alone and that it’s ok not to be ok.
