Mickey’s Award!

Expect Limited service user and service user helper Mickey has been presented with an award after his superb appearance at Expect’s ‘Against the Odds’ booklet and campaign launch.

Mickey spoke passionately on the night about his love for The Bowersdale Resource Day Centre. How he enjoys being the resident bingo caller for the Centre and how he enjoys taking part in and organising activities with staff and other service users.

Mickey has been involved with the Centre for four straight years now. He says;

“I like coming to the Centre, getting around and seeing people who I enjoy spending time with. Im proud to be a service user and proud to be a service user helper as well. My role gives me the best of both worlds. I love interacting with the staff and chatting to the other service users”.

Bowersdale Centre staff wanted to mark the occasion and presented Mickey with his Guest Speaker award after his brilliant talk about his experiences working with Expect.
