David Flies To Belfast!

David lives in one of Expect’s Supported Living Services. He got his passport for the first time last year and last weekend he flew to Belfast on his first ever flight. David loved flying and had a great time in Belfast. As you can see from his pictures, it looks like David had a brilliant David Flies To Belfast!

Junkyard Golf

John and Carl from Maiden Lane enjoyed an afternoon at Junkyard Golf recently. They took on the Pablo course where they had to navigate around 7ft UFC bears, a pirate pig on a speedboat and a toxic volcano! Fun and lots of laughs were had! They would both highly recommend it and cannot wait to Junkyard Golf

Adventures With Clare!

Clare’s Adventures! Clare from Darrel Drive enjoyed several days out over the past week, one day she visited New Brighton beach to blow away the cobwebs and have a nice long walk, another day she went to Southport funfair, even posing in a Barbie Doll figure box! Clare really enjoyed her days out and going Adventures With Clare!

Charlie visits Anime Convention

Charlie was supported on Saturday to attend an Anime convention at Bowlers Exhibition Centre in Manchester. Charlie met a couple of his favourite voice over actors and pushed himself out of his comfort zone by chatting with them both. He got autographs and bought plenty of memorabilia! Bowel Screening Awareness Day

Please find attached a poster for Bowel Screening Awareness Day at the BRC. Specialists will be attending the Day Centre to deliver a session and answer any questions service users may have. They are also able to show you the kits and how to use them. Its for anyone over 50, please share with your Bowel Screening Awareness Day

Easter at The BRC

We hope you all had a lovely Easter! Our team at The Bowersdale Resource Day Centre (BRC) had an eggs-citing day, with their Easter Party and Easter Egg Hunt. There was even time for a round of Easter Bingo. As always- the Easter Bunny made a guest appearance to meet with service users and staff.

BRC Big Spring Clean!

🌼 BRC Big Spring Clean Over the past few weeks, our service users at the BRC have been out in the surrounding streets and local park, helping to keep our neighbourhood looking its best. As part of the Keep Britain Tidy – Big Spring Clean campaign, we’ve pledged to collect 10 bags of litter between BRC Big Spring Clean!

Museum of Liverpool Visit

Museum of Liverpool Visit. David and Stephen from University Road where recently supported on a visit to the museum in Liverpool. David is a avid Liverpool supporter and loved seeing the Liver bird.
